What hurts today

Every GlobalG.A.P. audit gets pulled together with physical folders the week before, because nobody knows beforehand which control points the program already meets and which are still pending.

The status of each dispatch is chased over WhatsApp with whoever loaded the truck.

The guide and invoice for each dispatch are noted by hand and don't always match what was actually loaded.

Reconstructing which block and picker a pallet came from, and what stage it's in once dispatched, means asking several different people and takes hours.

Field-to-packing shrinkage only shows up in the weekly inventory, and what gets given away or thrown out at the packing house isn't recorded anywhere: nobody knows how much it is or where it goes.

The leg toward the exporter is held together with a handwritten reference, with no automatic way to cross-check it against the final settlement.

What the module does

  • Traceability card for every pallet, block to customer: originating block, farm, crop/variety, picker, caliber and quality grade, boxes and gross/tare weight, plus the 4 chain stages —harvest, packing, dispatch, exporter—, with the dispatch stage sealing itself the moment the guide is issued. Customer, dispatch date, and the guide, invoice and exporter-reference numbers are entered by hand and live right there, not validated against an external system.

What does the Postharvest & traceability module cover?

It replaces physical folders, dispatch WhatsApp threads and the shrinkage spreadsheets built at the weekly close.
How does it help you arrive prepared for the audit?
The folder stops being assembled at the last minute: every pallet keeps its originating block, picker, weight and the four chain stages, and every executed order its MRL compliance status per market. That is the evidence the auditor asks for. The checklist that flags GlobalG.A.P. control point by control point lives in the plant nutrition & health module and runs over those same applications, so you know what is missing before the auditor arrives, not during the visit.
Does it connect automatically with the exporter's settlement?
Not yet: you save the reference to the line item at the exporter alongside the dispatched pallet, to cross-check it later by hand against your settlement. It's a manual bridge, not an automatic one, and consolidated FOB —field + packing + freight, already matched to the exporter's legal entity— is out of scope for this version.
Can I trace a pallet back to its originating block?
Yes. The pallet's traceability card shows the originating block, picker and caliber, every recorded stage —harvest, packing, dispatch, exporter— and, if applicable, the destination customer.
How does it know which pallet was dispatched and to whom?
Every pallet has a traceability card with the originating block and picker, the stages it went through (packing, dispatch), and, once dispatched, the customer, date and associated guide and invoice numbers. The pallet is marked as dispatched the moment you create the dispatch, with no one having to note it separately; the guide and invoice numbers are added afterward and stay editable in the dispatch list.
Does it assign a carrier, customs agent or shipping line?
Not yet. Today the module covers the commercial dispatch —to whom, how much, and with what document— but not carrier or customs-agent assignment, nor shipping-line tracking. If that piece is a priority for your operation, tell us during the demo.
How does it keep shrinkage from being discovered too late?
Shrinkage is calculated as soon as you record a pallet's packing stage, not in the weekly inventory. That said, it's only measured over records that already went through that stage —mixing in the ones still in the field would show a false 100% shrinkage.
What happens to what's discarded?
The destination of every discard gets declared —even "given away" or "thrown out"— along with the recovered value, if any. The panel aggregates it by block, so you see where it concentrates before deciding whether it's worth selling.
Does it measure OEE, cost per box, or production per line and shift?
Not yet. What exists today is shrinkage and discard per stage and pallet traceability — not a per-line capture system, OEE efficiency, or itemized cost per box. If that's what your plant needs, tell us during the demo.
How much does this module cost?
