1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected through this site and the AgroSynapse platform is Ingeniería y Tecnología de Precisión SpA, taxpayer ID 77.091.309-8, with registered address at Padre Mariano 391, Of. 704, Providencia, Santiago, Chile.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Business contact data: name, work email, phone, company, role, hectares operated, free-form message. You provide these voluntarily when requesting a demo, a diagnostic or a resource.
  • Site usage data: pages visited, conversion events, UTM parameters. Processed through Plausible Analytics, a cookieless web analytics solution that produces aggregated data with no individual profiling.
  • Platform data (active customers): information about your agricultural operation that you upload or that is generated while using AgroSynapse (blocks, tasks, wages, costs, plant health, quality, commercial). This data belongs to the customer; AgroSynapse acts as a data processor.

3. Purposes

We process your data to:

  1. Respond to your commercial requests (demos, diagnostics, contact).
  2. Operate the AgroSynapse platform for contracted customers, including support, maintenance and service improvements.
  3. Comply with applicable legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
  4. Send service-related or product-related communications, always with an opt-out option.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis

We process the data on the basis of:

  • Your informed consent, given when submitting a contact form or accepting this policy.
  • The performance of a contract (or pre-contractual measures) when you request commercial information.
  • The legitimate interest of operating and improving our service, provided this does not override your rights.
  • Compliance with applicable legal obligations, including Chile's Law 19.628 and, where applicable, the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

5. Subprocessors

To deliver the service we rely on technology providers bound by data-processing agreements. The current list of subprocessors and their role is available at:

We will notify customers at least 30 days in advance of any material addition of subprocessors handling customer personal data.

6. Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described and for any applicable legal retention periods. As a reference:

  • Commercial inquiries without contract: up to 24 months from the last contact.
  • Contractual data: during the term of the contract and any applicable statutory periods.
  • Active customer platform data: throughout the term of the contract. Upon termination, data is deleted or returned per contractual terms.

7. Data subject rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection and portability at any time by writing to contacto@agrosynapse.tech. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and may request minimum information to verify your identity.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including in-transit and at-rest encryption, role-based access control, audit logging and backups. No system is 100% secure: in the event of a significant incident, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable regulations.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the applicable regulations change. The current version is always published on this page, including the last-updated date.

10. Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to data-subject rights granted by applicable local regulations.
